Not to mention the space required  Clearly this is something that must be set up outdoors, unless you had like an empty barn or wharehouse or large shed at your disposal. Very cool looking though, I had to look closely at a couple of the shots to be sure I was not looking at real people.

I read the 3 pages of posts they made. They plan on doing a Luftwaffe dio soon, and an Allied dio. (In September) I hope they have more stuff like this.

What a cheater - how dare he use full scale trees and dirt!

And the scarier part is in that scale, you can actually ride on the trains. Awesome work.

Entire train was built by hand. Builder is Peter Shaw who is a legend among Brits and worldwide 1/6 guys.

See now, if us 1/6 guys knew you guys would appreciate this kind of work, we would have given you the link.

The Brits do some simply awesome, big money, layouts of custom toys.

If you guys are interested, those 1/6 guys on this board will drop links when unbelievable stuff like this armored train shows up.

Not trying to convert anyone, just for info purposes. But guys, please believe not all 1/6 have toys like is in those pics.....

Keep posting em. I'm amazed and it's great inspiration for what 1:18 could be given time, talent and product.

Wowzaa! Great stuff!

I love what someone said in that forum:

"I was thinking of taking some photo's of my humble collection and posting them. Think I'll wait for a slower, far less impressive week now... :)"

My sentiments exactly!

(P.S. Would love to see a Stuka in there!)

IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE, IF THIS BE DONE IN 1/6 WITH SO MUCH REALISM, IT MUST BE EASIER TO FIND THE ITEMS & CERTAINLY CHEAPER TO DO IT IN 1/18. I THINK THE ONLY MISSING INGREDIENT IN ME DUPLICATING THIS IN 1/18 IS THAT I NEED TO RETIRE, BUT OF COURSE THAN THE MONEY WILL BECOME AN ISSUE. I GUESS FOR THE TIME BEING I WILL USE THESE AMAZING PICTURES AS A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION TO DOUBLE MY EFFORTS IN 1/18.
