Does anybody have any photos of the BBI F-16?
I am thinking about ordering one, but would like to see some photos of it first. Please include a photo of the turbine.

Thanks a lot!

Here's a couple existing photos that I have of my BBI F-16. This is the stock variant. Some of the others seen in the photos from the above link were the custom version (from BCA) that came with a blank tail and your choice of ANG unit markings decals.

The 21c AH-1W and the BBI pilot figure were included in these shots for scale purposes.

Cool pics.
The F-16 is overscale (too big) so that makes the cars look even smaller.
I think the F-18 is still the king of the bbi fleet if for this reason alone.

Thanks for the pics Mig, did not understand the comentary though, I also have an Autoart Nissan Skyline R34 Spec V, but I have the stock silver one. I think they made an R32 already, but I dont like how it looks, kindof cheaply made.

Digger, how much overscale is it?
1/17 or more?

ahhh

Moth,

Its lyrics from a song back in the early 80's i think by a rock group called Styx. I had it stuck in my head over a bowl of Cheerios this morning. Sorry!

No need for sorry, I just said I have no clue what you said

Do you collect 1/18 cars?, I have over 245 cars so far.

Is that RX-7 from Kyosho?

An inch or two here or there. There is a thread on it from about a month ago - some guys with keen eyes thought it looked too big and some measurements proved them right.

All I remember is they said the missles were overscale, is that the tread you are refering to?

No, the bird itself is too big. There is actually another thread with the exact same name as this one at the bottom of this page that really should have been consolidated: viewtopic.php?t=3162
It has some great photos of the F-16, but I am not sure if it is the one where it is discussed that the bird is too big.

Yes, I have been through that thread, it says nothing about "overscaledness"

Thanks anyway :)

Wow I love your 160th SOAR Blackhawk conversion, by the way how difficult was it to cut open the load master windows?

Ahh MY BAD!!! Didn't realized you asked. SORRY!

Yes, I collect 1/18 cars, that's partly where I began. I started with those Bburago 1/24s back when they were the only game in town and had totally monopoly hence no competition. I got into 1/18 when the Ferrari Testasrossa came out. I lived in Italy so they were everywhere. At this point I ought to chill out on the cars because I'm wayy outta space. My favorite brands are Auto/Art and the affilliated companies including UT/PMA etc. Kyosho of course, and Maisto... here is some of the stuff I have:

McLaren F1, Gunmetal colour (Maisto - No longer made)
BMW M3 1998 or 1999 version (AutoArt)
BMW 328i in Dark Metallic Blue and Silver (AutoArt)
Lamborghini Diablo w/ Removable top (AutoArt)
Lamborghini Diablo Black (Bburago Model Kit found at Fort Lewis)
RX-7 in Black and Red (Kyosho)
Acura NSX in White (Type-R), Black, Yellow (Kyosho)
Mazda Miata Yellow (Kyosho)
Mitsubishi Evolution 7 Black (AutoArt)
Mitsubishi Pajero Black (AutoArt)
Nissan Skyline R32 (Blue and Playstation 2 Versions)
Toyota Celica Black (Kyosho)
Toyota Celica Fast and the Furious Version (Ertl)
THE DUKES of HAZARD car...yep yep 69 Charger by none other than Ertl
Nissan 300ZX Red (Kyosho)
Champ Indy Cars [CART]:
Team Player's Forsythe: Patrick Carpentier #33
Target Racing: Juan Montoya #4
US Army Desert Colour Humvee (Exoto - THE BEST HUMVEE in 1:18 ever made!!!!!)
Toyota Celica Hatchback Rally Car in Marlboro Colours #9
Opel Calibras ( 2 Euro - Tour car versions by Auto Art)
2005 Model Ferrari F1 -Shumacher (Hot Wheels)
1999 HSBC F1 Car - (Hotwheels)
Lambo Countach Black (Bburago)
Ferrari Maranello Red (Bburago)
Ferrari F355 Spyder (AutoArt)
Classic VW Beetle (Yat Ming)
98 Honda Accord Coupe Black - Fast and the Furious (Ertl)

Motorcycles:

Neon Blue Jesse James West Coast Choppers Diablo
Kawasaki Ninja Black
Cagiva Street Racer Team Agip Italia
Honda #15 Telefonica/Movistar logo

Those are my faves...I have others that are too many to list but I think you have a lot more. I go up to Vancouver a lot and they have these cool ass stores with a lot of AutoArt and much more... Which ones do you collect? I wish they made a Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR-4 and I short of trademarks etc, I don't know why they hadn't made one!

Good to know there are others out there, Moth!

I have most of the cars you listed,
I always wanted that Mclaren F1 by Maisto, but never found it
How is the Kyosho 300ZX? I always wanted one, since it is my favorite car, but the model looks a bit off by the photos I saw.
I got the Aa Diablo VT instead of the OffTop one.

Nice to see someone else collects cars, I started with cars as you did, and made my way up to armor and aircraft.

Again, great job on your F/A-18, it is purely amazing.

Hey New York!!! (Moth)

The 300ZX in Red...its not bad at all...and I got the yellow version too. Pretty hefty in weight and its definitely a keeper. It reminded me of the Nissan Commercial from the 1997 where (if I remember correctly) a Ken Barbie doll look-a-like leaves the house and his Red Haired Barbie doll girlfriend and then this Cowboy dude drives in on his shiny red Nissan 300ZX (which was a remote controlled car) and then he sweeps the red haired barbie from her feet and they cruise off into the sunset with the sountrack "You've really got me now" blaring and then at the end you see a Mr. Miyagi lookin dude smiling with the remote control in his hands. Bad ass commerical!! Thanks again bout the Hornet. I'm thinking of jury-rigging some 1/18 ground support vehicles and equipment from those GI Joe Hummers and whatnot so I can make start carts, tow trucks etc. If I do thru with it, I'll show you man! Peace out from the West Coast!!
