Hey guys,
A while ago, there was a guy who did up Boyington's corsair and put it in a cool looking diorama. Who was that? Normandy?
I wanted to see those photos again, since he did an awesome job on the diorama itself. Thanks!

Ski, I know the diorama your thinking of.... oh and its not mine. I can't remeber who did it.

For some reason the name Delta or Deltaforce comes to mind. Hope you find those pics, that was some nice work.

I gotta say that some of those shots are some of the most realistic I have seen for XD anywhere. I remember complementing Delta on it when he first posted them. To me the best shot is the 3rd to last. That looks just too real........

Yep, those were mine. My favorite pic was always this one;
I haven't been into the 1/18 stuff very much lately, but I still do check the sites often. I have been working recently on military vehicles in a slightly larger scale. My current project is this;
It's a 1967 Kaiser Jeep M715 5/4 ton weapons carrier. I have been working on tracking down original parts to restore it. Of coarse what Army truck wouldn't be complete without one of these strapped to the dash.
If you want to see more pics of the truck, they can be found here,
http://www.davidallenracing.com/M715.htm which is on my business site.
Later, Dave
Very Cool

I used to do some dioramas with them... This was back before I had harnessed the power of the clone brush... so there's a bit of the clone brush blues (we're talking this was during the time of the Lov IV release!)
I also did a awesome one with the Sherman Tank (original) and soldiers in a dug out ditch...
gotta find the photos.
