Solido.....i think it's based on a 1950's era Chevy. Not WWII era for sure though..

Basically the same vehicle body was made in late 40's to mid 50's. A Chevy and the vehicle was a Panel Delivery truck by U.S. forces.
Not an ambulance and definately not WW2. The same truck was classified as a 1/2 ton and a 1 ton with an extended body. The 1 ton was used as an ambulance at the time.
Nice little truck though.

It's Solido. If you go on the website and look under America Prestige, you will see it. Listed as Chevorlet panel military 1950.

Good afternoon; It's Solido,on the bottom it says MIRA...made in Spain. Mira is Solido. Diecast.....not bad if your not real picky about mixing different eras. If you can get it for about $15.00 including shipping I think it's worth it. Looks good with some Build-A-Rama stretchers and a couple of GI's. Regards.......Bob

Heads up, these are NOT 1:18 sale - more like 1:22. I purchased two sight unseen - one in OD, the other ambulance markings - and was very disappointed when I found figures look comically large next to them. If you have any of the XD first issue jeep drivers they might work, but not accurately sized figures.

I just picked one of these up recently at my local Army surplus (the bunker) and yes they are a little too small, I had to take out the seat to get a figure to fit in it
I will take some pics and post 'em later, it also looks comically too small next to a mutt jeep

Too bad it's too small. It's a pretty cool looking vehicle!

Mira/Solido are usually underscale. Johnny Lightning makes a 1948 Chevy Panel truck that is closer to scale. It currently only comes in yellow and red with Coke emblems on it.
