The guy who had a few of these for reasonable Buy It Nows seems to be having some trouble. eBay pulled the listing. Anyone have any idea what's up?

don't know the reason other than ebay will pull a listing on any complaint, regardless if ebay verifies.

catman is probably right, I had an auction cancelled after it closed because the winner's account was hijacked. I couldn't even do a second chance offer or relist it because the auction was gone. I wonder if the seller's account may have been hijacked.

something is not right with this. Here are some more Panzers with the same pics but from a different seller?

hmm....both are in Glasgow Scotland, or so it says. When i bought mine communiction was good, Paypal went through no problem and i rec'd an email saying item had been shipped. Don't know if a shim sham man would go to all that trouble because he'd know he only has hours or a day or two to operate.......no point really.

He had Paypal buyer protection so my money's safe but it will be very disappointing if i dont get my panzer.

Besides if this is a scam i don't see the point. The seller's feedback is excellent and even if his Ebay and Paypal accounts were hijacked so what? The crook still cant' get the money because he doesn't have access to the bank account the Paypal account is linked to and he would not be able to register a new one for days.....and it would not be in the right name even if he did.

We'll see i guess..

Yeah, I hope I get mine also.

hmm......the new seller has sold a ton of these things. Huge feedback rating though, 18,000+. Could be the same guy with two ebay accounts.

It may just be a case of there being a pile of these Panzer IV's lying around in europe and eventually being sold off to some sort of outlet seller.

Hmm..

I think if it was a scam ebay would have shut the auctions for the other tanks on ebay right now.

How much did you guys get charged for shpping? I bought four for 79 brit pounds and shipping is 78 british pounds, so almost 300 for four.

that sounds about right sakuraba......the shipping per tank is about the same as the cost of the tank itself. Combined shipping on larger heavy items doesn't really get any cheaper. In fact with Canada Post, it's often cheaper to ship items like this individually, than to ship them in one big package. May well be the same from the UK.

I still don't think this is a scam. I had excellent communication from the seller. It may just be that it's the weekend and he's away, that you haven't heard back yet.

As you mentioned we all have buyer protection, so there are no worries about losing money, just of being disappointed.

Ok guy's,
I have talked to the seller, They are the same person, He explained the screw up with e-bay, we are assured we will be getting our tanks with no problem, so everything is a go, we should be able to rest easy. :D

(when your attack is going really well---It's a ambush)

This is what i was sent:

yes that is us. it is our old website on ebay. Unfortunately there were some technical difficulties in terms of listing on our new site over the weekend, so we were forced into listing onto our old one......rest assured you shall receive the same service.

Not entirely sure of the situation you guys have but to add one experience I had once:

One time I was listing an item and another person was either listing the same/similar item or was a scammer and used my photos.

Ebay has very strict rules that one seller cannot use the same pictures as another seller and will remove instantly the auction that started second etc. And sometimes if they can't figure out exactly what has happened they will remove all auctions that contain the pictures, sometimes not.

Probably not what you guys are facing, but just so you know.

Catman you are more then welcome to use my photos of the panzer, but it sounds like you will run into some problems with ebay.

I also picked up a Euro Panzer IV and a Euro FW 190. Total cost $203.39 USD. Shipping is the real killer about $125.00 USD. I hope they arrive in mint condition at that price.
