Small Scale Military Headquarters

Hi guys i have just seen this thread over on joe customs apparently big lots are restocking with lots of chap mei and PTE and people have even found the new bunk bed sets i hope we get to see them over here but thought i'd make sure you guys knew to be on the lookout

Wow, the bunks are out. Might have to make a Pic-N-Save run this weekend.

If anyone finds a stash of these, would you check for the large headquarters building that was available at Sears/KB a couple of years ago? I missed out on them then, and have been looking for one ever since.

I`d love to get some of those Bunk sets & also I too would love one of the PTE HQs if they have that out again I too missed it first time round

Found some Power Team and ChapMei today at Big Lots. Not as large a selection as others are reporting, here mostly 1:6, but they did have some of the PT vehicles (Little Bird helo; Humvees; Desert Buggies) and lots of carded 3-pack figures. Chap Mei was mostly the pirate sets and police/rescue. No aircraft, helos, etc although I did see the "p-61" box art.

I have scan of the back of the largest PT box, showing all the sets and vehicles, including a sweet bridge set I'd love to find. Also shows the HQ set, does that indicate current production? Anyway, I don't have any way to post this photo but if anyone can, LMK and I'll e-mail it to you.

Man, my PicnSave had a TON of stuff today. Chap Mei two packs, with one figure being the somewhat static delta figure (really like the one I picked up - the SAW gunners), lots of single packs of military guys and those He Man knock-offs, bunch of small vehicles (wiesel tank and some 6x6 thing),,then a bunch of large vehicle packs - including the Halftrack pack and the Harrier! Although I didn't buy it, the Halftrack looks pretty decent, and the included sniper looks cool. Among PTE stuff, they had all the three packs (including the SEAL team), watch tower, Little Birds, bunk sets, etc. Was surprised I bought as little as I did. Unfortunately, no sign of the Chap Mei Osprey.

I was out tonight and saw TONS of PTE at my local Big Lots. A really large selection and section devoted to it at BL, so it's quite true that there's a lot to be had out there. Get thee to Big Lots I guess.

I got 4 Bunk sets, could've gotten dozens more, and dozens of other things like Little birds, Watch Towers, Figure Sets (including the elusive SEAL Set), and campfire sets. They had a lone $2.50 bivoac set that is awesome too but only one.

I'm gonna nab some of the Buggies for customizing into other things. I need to get more bunk sets and other things too.

Oh and figure sets with Hedgehogs so finally I can stock up on those BIGTIME now.

I really REALLY hope that BL gets in the headquarters, and this awesome bridge playset. The tank would be appreciated too IMO, and perhaps the SWAT sets and fire sets that were so elusive.

I've got a stuipd question - what is everyone using those bunk beds for? Without any barracks or other suitable buildings, I can't think of how the beds would display. I know I must be missing something obvious....

I'm planning on building a bunker with barraks.

Not a stupid question. I missed out on the Command Post. Saw it, but passed on it, now I wish I had it. Same goes now with the bunk beds. I bought a few and may do as Morian and just build a barracks, or if luck has it, the Command Post will be re-released and at least, I'll have the bunk beds. Besides, for $5 you get 3 soldiers, bunk beds, some equipment and a locker!

BUNK BEDS-
If any body finds some extras of the bunk beds (do lockers come with it?)
I would be up to trade you something for the beds and lockers (if they come with it) Don't need any of the figures.

Yup, one locker with a set of BB. Cool little set imo.

Very cool, plus little strips of foam padding for the beds.

I'm going to be using mine for Star Wars actually, not military, but building the buidling they go into is the deal, yup.
