Has a company ever done a 1:18 C-47 for our paras??

If not, I would love to see an invasion striped C-47, especially with the new boxed U.S. paras set coming down the pike. Apologies firsthand if I missed this gem....I got away from "Small Joes" for quite awhile, till my brother sucked me back in...dang-nabit!

your best bet is to build up a Guillow's kit.

actually.....a better bet is the Great Planes DC-3 r/c model. Comes pretty much ready to assemble and paint. The fuselage is about 1/21 scale and the wings are 1/19, so it 'averages' about 1/20 scale. Good lines and not alot of effort to build. You will have to come up with your own markings, however and three blade props, as it comes with two blade props.

You can find them on the internet for around $120-ish.

The liklihood of seeing a 1/18 C-47 from 21c, bbi or AT is pretty slim, as it would have over a 5 foot wingspan. We've been waiting 5 1/2 years so far and still no hint of one...but you never know.

You know it would be a real coup is they ever did decide to make one. At one point in time, 21st talked about a so called "big boys" line. It would be one hell of a big boy. I could see it now, the classic OD with invasion stripes. And then for repaint potential, a silver drug runner out of Columbia  But, man would it be seriously cool if they did it.

C-47 would indeed be cool to see, if they would do that then what about bombers? I'd love to see an Lancaster so I could give it to my Dad, we went to see one at an aviation museum and it's always been his favorite.
