You can even save an extra $5.00 by switching your Avenger preorder to the 262.

Wow, I just read BCT's pre-order description. Maybe I'm wrong, but I noticed quite a few not so tongue-in-cheek jibes at 21st century? I wonder what the story is? Childish behavior, or legit business gripes?

Whatever the deal is, I'm looking forward to getting my hands on this shark out of the water! :o

At the risk of sounding negative I will say there is a thread on this already in the BST forum.

I assumed that a preorder for this would appear on the main page since not everyone is going to look at the "Buy, Sell, Trade" forum.

I hope this preorder doesn't turn into another nightmare.

The militarytoyshop site has had the Me262 pre order buton for like a month now...

Maybe BCT knows when they are on the water. Sure would be nice to have a company offical state "yep just locked the container and it's on the ship"

project secrets Ok, future production secrets OK, production run secrets OK, but not telling customers their orders are actually in transit secrets? Not OK

I changed the topic so we can give Admiral Toys a dedicated thread. Now if I could only sticky it, we'd be set!

I pre-ordered my pair of 262s today. Man, that $23 shipping absolutely KILLS me!! ArrGGHH!!!!!! :x

Anyone heard if the date has been pushed back on the release of the German CL-13 Sabre? I really am looking forward to getting this model. :D

For those that are not aware yet. Admiral Toys is estimating shipping of the CL-13 paintscheme in the second week of August. They have also stated that, once this shipment of CL-13 is sent, the CL-13 paintscheme will be discontinued. This is in keeping with the "limited edition" title for the CL-13 Sabre. Get'em while they're hot guys!!!

Folkwulfe,

I just posted some info in the "Direct from the Source" thread. I have updated the delivery to the 21st of this month for the CL-13. Production is completed. We are just waiting on a boat. Of course I must state the caveat that anything can happen. But at this time that anything has not raised its ugly head.

So if you think about it we will not miss our delivery date and the CL-13 is on schedule as announced, if I correctly remember. I would like to thank Rob at BCA for the easy out if we missed our schedule. We talked... I was hesitant on delivery... he made a judgment call in everyone's best interest... it is a long story. But thank you Rob and all the retailers that, after talking with me, state on their sites realistic delivery times.

Everyone wants to be the early bird, but only a few care about the consequences if there are delays. We are fortunate to have some top notch retailers. Check them all out on our website's links.

Regards,
Jason

Wow! That is a new one to me. I usually get the Jason and the Argonauts thrown about. But at least my name has some nostalgic admiration.

Jason

Of course, to show my real geekdom - James Doohan was on the show... But I can't remember if he was on the original SPACE ACADEMY or JASON OF STAR COMMAND...

Either way, both shows had some cool space stuff as you company has cool planes!
(No kissing up to the Admirals Toys rep for future free planes or anything... )

Very cool about the undercorated Sabre on its way to you. I am still waiting for the CL-13 German Sabre. Should be out soon I think. :D

Jason thanks for making the Saber, I noticed on the back of the jolly Roger Box that you have a Zero.

The star is correct on mine, but the USAF logo is a tad bit misaligned. You can't really notice it however, so I'm not bothered. If it was the star on the other hand...
