The Mig is nice for sure, I'd be happy with one, but my personal preference would be for an Su-27 Flanker. To me, the Sukhoi just has a rakish deadly look to it, like a bird of prey....... even the name, "Flanker" evokes images of speed and agility.....

i would think a Mig 29 much more likely than an Su-27, for reasons of size. Many of the toy companies are balking at an F-14 and F-15 due to size reasons and the Flanker dwarfs both of them.. Plus, it ain't american.

There is a nice foam r/c Flanker which is almost exactly 1/18 scale however. Lines are excellent. With a bit of work painting and detailing it can make a very nice model.

I would say we have about a 25% chance of seeing a Mig 29 one day, most likely from BBI.

We'll have to wait and see...

:)

I would love to see the F-14D F-15E and the Su27 Flanker made. Some day I think they will.

I sure Hope so, If Mike from Bbi is Lurking around " I will buy 3 of them" but Bbi needs to make the Intake doors and the auxiliary intake doors work, I highly detailed cockpit with Working Slide throttles.

I do believe there is a strong market for a Mig 29, especially the one I posted a picture here. Bbi could make a ton of versions to sell, India for example.

The only fly in the ointment would be the securing the licensing from Mikoyan-Gurevich

 When thinking about the auxiliary louvers, think about the Air vents in cars, and how you slide them Open and closed.

"New Russian game......"LawnDartz""

That would be a must for a custom! :-D

Yes, count me in on anything for the F-16/18s of the world to dogfight with other than my FW-190s.

Today the dogfights go kinda like this:

Whooooshh.........
"Vas is das? ... "
Whoooosshh......
"Vas is das?..."
Bam!

if the F-16 and F-18 are out then there should be a viable, and necessary counterpart available. this is the whole reason i believe in 1/18 MFG's doing the "alternative " aircraft designs. (helos included too)
