Gifts Given or Received for Father's Day?
What did you give or receive (relevant to this board)? My wife and kids got me the Schleich castle tower (after my very specific hint), which I'd thought about for a while (I can see multiple uses for it) but just hadn't pulled the trigger on.

Got an assortment of model paints and three cans of spray paint from a 1/1 dealer to use on my 1/18 and 1/6 vehicles. I haven't had any WW2 color paint since I sold my CC. All we have is post war semi-gloss for our current vehicles so this Father's Day, this gift came in very handy.
Also got the new John Wayne/John Ford collection of DVD's (8 classics in the set) and a copy of "The Horse Soldiers".
Very nice day, first time in quite a while since the entire clan got together (my boys have odd hours). Very nice day, girls cooking, baking, guys sitting around. My only work was keeping my 1/6 stuff away from the grandson. Gotta move my "toys" in the next few months.

Sometimes I am the windshield, sometimes, I am the bug.

Got some cards and a gold necklace. I was hoping for an Avenger, perhaps next Father's Day.
Oh yeah not really a Father's Day present but I purchased a small DLP Projector that was on sale at Fry's. It is awesome watching Battle of Britain, Top Gun and Star Wars on the big screen at home.

Did OK...
My sons came home and we spent time together and we BBQed. I got 3 sets of the new SS figs from Small Joes. (Still waiting on one set). Also got the 1935 Horch 851 Pullman Limousine 1/18 and 1938 MERCEDES-BENZ 770K PULLMAN 1/18 which both go great with the SS figs. Im off for the next two weeks. So things are pretty good for the moment.
