Any idea if this is 1/18?

Post by Morian Miner » Fri May 19, 2006 10:08 am

Is anyone familiar with these models? The length dimension seems a bit small, but possibly usable. But based on some other items this guys was selling, it seemed these may actually be 1/43 models. Any help is appreciated.

The only field piece I could locate with that bore diameter was the D44 AT gun, and I believe that is what's being shown by the seller.

The D44 is 8.43m long, which equates to 328 inches. Dividing everything out, this piece appears to be roughly 1/38 or 1/39 scale. It would be close enough to use for 1/32 or 1/35, but not 1/18. Sorry
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.

agreed.....that was quite a big gun, in real life. Would need to be about twice as big to be close to 1/18.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

Bummer. Was hoping it would be usable. Found some other British artillery, but the price really shot up on those

Who says artillery won't sell?
