Time for another poll. What is everyone's favorite P-47? Since there are a few opinions out there, I would like to know which one is your favorite, for whatever reason (most valuable, best looking, most accurate, etc).
I think I got every version in the poll but if I missed one, let me know. I could only come up with NINE  .
If you don't like any of them, that's OK. You still may find the results of interest.

I really like Eileen. I like the olive drab look with the white and black checkerboards on the cowl. I like them all, but Eileen is my favorite.

My favorite is "The Blonde Angel" P-47 Razorback as I love the contrast between the D-day stripes, the black cowling, the yellow stripe and OD on nose and, of course, some of the best nose art 21c has yet produced :D

My second favorite would have to be the "Eagleston" P-47 Bubbletop.

Gentile is a hometown hero so I have to go with Donnieboy. Now, if I could only convince Roy that the next time they reissue the Spitfire, it comes out in Gentile's Eagle Sqd. livery of Buckeye Don. I can hope.

There are so many great looking paint schemes of the Jug it's hard to pick just one, but my all time favorite is one that does not yet exist in 21C's line up, it's called "Hairless Joe" and is a real WWII scheme flown by Col. David Schilling, CO of the 56th FG, part of "Zemkes Wolfpack" in the European theatre of operations. The model belongs to Dave Gianakos and the pic is from RCwarbirds.com

When they do Schilling's, Johnson's, Gabreski's or Mahurin's the P-47 collection will grow again. For now it's a toss-up between Eileen and Peg.

I didn't buy myself one of these bad boys yet. I can't make up my mind because most of them are real nice. Maybe this pole and your input could sway me towards one or the other. Any help would be appreciated.

It looks like you might have to roll a dice or draw straws considering that the most popular repaints (based on the poll results) are the P-47 razorbacks "Peg 'o My Heart" and "The Blond Angel" as well as the bubbletop "Eileen." I would personally go with either the "Blond Angel" or "Eileen" if I were in your shoes... but the decision is yours :D

Aw crap, y'know I have the blond angel hung with 30lb line on the basement ceiling and the checkertail hanging down on the wall pegboard; HERE COMES THAT FEELING AGAIN- THANKS TO Y'ALL. There is that one walmart with the one last available (locally at least) eileen P-47. Be with me my droogies in mental and verbal support as I ponder this possible purchase.

Well, at least it will put you down only around $40, as opposed to what it could be elsewhere...

if they did Gabby Gabreski's, they would have to do a Hamilton Standard prop like on the 1/32 P-47Ds
but if it was done right i'd have a couple
