So I finally find a desert cammo Stuka. Theres a price tag of $39.84 on it. But right next to that sticker is one that says Was $39.84, Now $39.00. Wow!!!! A whole 84 cents off. I even asked a clerk about it. Why on earth does a store put on a price sticker drawing attention to an item being 84 cents off, especially on a item of that price.

And yes, I did buy it. Only one I have been able to find.

Oh come on - my favorite sale ploy from WM is
"Was $39.99"
sale price $39.99
this has also been done on items that were once clearance.

Considering that I once paid over $50 for my S1 Stuka at TRU and that they can go easily for nearly $70 with shipping fees, etc. at a small retailer, I would certainly agree with the above posts that, $0.84 cent discount or not, you got a good deal on that plane

If you can get any 21st 1/18 plane at WM, consider it a very good buy.

About a week ago I got the 1/18th German Marineflieger F-104G Starfighter "special edition" at my local WalMart for $39.84 and that seemed like a pretty good deal to me at the time, it's a big, great looking plane. They had just one more on the shelf, and maybe still do, but I don't know what I would do with two of them? Another WM in the area had two of the silver F-104's for the same price, maybe I should go get one? Whaddya think?? This is getting to be a problem for me, I might need professional help...is there a "modelholics anonymous"??
