For you plane guys, excuse me if this is old news:
KB toys internet site has a 21C 1/18 P-51 on "sale" for $24.99. It has a yellow nose.
Is this the 1C leftovers or the new one?
They also have a 1/32 ME-262 for the same price.

It is an old 1/32 Mustang.
Also, some of those sites - KB included - have been known to show one paint scheme but stock another.

But for 24.99, that's not a bad price for a S1 P-51. Even if it turns out to be another paint scheme.

Digger:
Are you saying the Mustang pic is a pic of a 1/32 plane? or are you saying they are selling a 1/32 item as a 1/18? The listing does say 1/18.
I think the KB site is pretty good. That's the site where I bought three 1/6 Command Cars (with General Patton) on sale for $99 last year. A week later while 1/6 guys were buying them up they reduced the price to $75. I called and they gave me a refund of $24 each car. Sold one car and the other two General Patton separately for enough to pay for everything. It's not everyday you get two Command Cars for free. Kind of like an early Christmas just like when one of our board members (don't have to mention names here) resold to me a NIB 21C 1/6 Scout Car he had snapped up on eBay for a "steal" of a price. An absolute treasure on a vehicle that is sold for four times the price and is rarely found NIB.
At $24.99, I didn't think, that P-51 is not a bad price to resell on our beloved eBay, even though it is S1.

Sorry, I was saying I thought the pic was the stock photo you see for the 1/32 version. You can see they say the paint scheme may vary - which means it is a nice way to get a Blue Nose or a BBD, but considering what they sell for on ebay I would not plan on turning them over:

But for the personal collection I can't deny that is a nice price - and thanks to TTT for pointing it out as it is not "old news" by any means.

Since we're discussing 1/18 P-51s, did they ever release a 1/18 Miss Marilyn?

I've been looking for a relatively cheap 1:18 P-51 to use for a customization/repaint project - and that would certainly fit the bill - but before you order check out the package dimesions at the bottom:
Package Weight
1.05 pounds
Package Dimensions
15.7" x 8" x 6.6"

Sounds more like a 1:32 plane to me? Wonder if there's just a type in the title/description?

All the 1:18 Mustang boxes I have are more like 24" x 10" x 8"

I have a feeling if you order that you may get a 1/32 bird..

If it is 1/18 and a S1 bird then it's quite a find. The S1 is the most sought after by collectors simply because it's the first! They average over $100 on ebay when listed properly and identified properly so to frown on a S1 may not be the thing to do. BUT, isn't this where the "black" F-18's were listed awhile back at a break neck price?? Of course they ended up being the standard S1 release Hornet...

My opinion, it's 1/32.

I would tend to agree that this was the 1/32 up for sale and not the 1/18.
Anyway the point is moot, cause it's sold out!
