I'll believe it when I see it, but they are being pretty adament about these being 3-3/4". If so, I'll be buying plenty of them. Also hope they do some British sailors and marines - that would REALLY break me.

there was huge coverage of the Pirates of the Carribean 2 line on figures.com after Toy Fair.
They are making 7 inch figures and articulated 3 3/4 inch ones. Also, tons of playsets and even the Black Crow or whatever the pirate ship is called. The playsets and ship are way underscale to go with the figures but i'm sure will appeal to some.
Go to figures.com toy fair coverage and check them out....i can't remember who's making them but they should be easy to find on there..
