I found the single hasbro carded GiJoe online figures today along with the night ops hummer w/ barrelroll (8 of them) and the new six packs with the three vipers. (4 of them)
single carded figures $4.99 and the six pack was $24.99
I picked up Monkeywrench and Lowlight. All the others were shown as on the floor but nowhere to be found. I had them check the computer and back.
This was a TRU in Atlanta - did Hasbro wake up? or is this a fluke?
No new BBI items though.

Are you saying that Hasbro just joined/ re-joined the 1:18 scale world? Boy, another player in the field would be just great, especially a big fish like Hasbro.

Actually they where only out of it for a few months. They have offered several waves of 1:18 scale figures through Hasbro Toy Shop.com (
http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/ProductsBy ... 20&SBR=315)
But this was sold through Internet Only, until now. What TRU has been getting is actually Wave 3 of the new GI Joe line.

Found some of the single carded figures at a TRU in Utah today. Will the 3 packs be in stores as well?

Here's a problem with DTC Joes being sold at TRU...they are not Toys. The few DTC Joes I got were for their equipment, but it did not take long to realize these guys were not to be "played with," perhaps not even opened.
The figures arrive with loose joints and literally can break in minutes. And this is not like your bbi or XD guys you can just snap back together - it was a real surprise. Clearly these are now just collectibles, not also toys. If TRU is going to carry more military collectibles, I wish it were Elite Force or XD...

Yeah - I picked up the SAW Viper but have yet to open him - nice SAW
so he breaks easy huh? his visor was a crap paint job.
I passed on the cobra trooper -
are the six packs and comic three packs as bad in quality?
Id rather TRU pick up 1:18 Dragon and XD

Digger, is it possible some of your generalizations here are a bit overstated? Did you actually have any that broke after you removed them from the package? I have all the figures from all 3 new waves and haven't seen the fragility you've described. The majority of the DTC Joe figures are repaints and frankensteins of previously released figures. There are some issues with the quality of the paint on the DTC's, but I haven't experienced or read about fragility on this scale.

Yea, it is a generalization made from just the first 2 waves. I have no wave 3. I also have a couple of Joes from 1990 new in the bag and they are 5x as tight..sturdy for rugged play.
