since i can't afford for now the modern XD figs and i need a real world opponent for my troopers i've decided to redo a custom i've seen on the boards (thanks for the inspiration man)

i repainted a dr link modern joe fig (got a couple of them for cheap on ebay)

i added a custom made holster a repainted marauder inc AK47 with folding stock. i'm planning on adding some sculpt details on the shirt

thanks jason for your kind remarks

i'm currrently working on this guy again since the holster broke when i tried to put a gun inside,

i'm adding some other details and i'll post new and hopefully clearer pics

i still don't know what his story is gonna be :

the camo doesn't make him a casual militia guy, maybe a merc ?
i just wanted to try and paint camo pattern, i'm gald you like it btw

Yea like the look of him a lot.Works well for some war torn African nation.

Maybe with your Planned French troops you could do a region French troops have been called in to help Police/control/Peacekeeper role?

as you can see i've added a bandolier and some stuff (canteen, pouch and a hand grenade),

i'm not satisfied of my holster but i'll try and mod a better one with experience
