Small Scale Military Headquarters

I was debating whether or not to resurrect an 11-12 year old thread, but just decided to make a new post… Anyways, I managed to snag an MIB JSI VF-154 Black Knights F-14 for $499.95 from Aiken’s Airplanes

It was listed in their June 3 newsletter under their “Lost But Now Found” section and I jumped on it. I passed on getting this particular model 11 years ago and came to regret that decision; so I was happy to finally add it to my collection without spending a small fortune. Hat’s off to Aikens for such a great deal

I'm glad for you, bro, and to reinforce your feelings of joy take a quick look at the usual bunch of listings of JSI & BBI at utterly absurd prices on ebay...you got it cheaper than some of the ones with missing and broken pieces...sometimes Christmas comes early!

I love JSI F-14A it has so many details. It should be the best 1:18 aircraft model we can find from JSI or BBI ?

a steal of a price to be sure. I'm surprised Aikens sold it so cheap. They could have easily got another $3-400 for it. (I won't tell if you don't).

But looking at your pictures I can see why you got such a good price. There's something wrong with your model....it doesn't have purple spots all over it, like the real plane.

(yes i'm still bitter about the spotcat)
