Merry Christmas !!!

Post by pickelhaube » Wed Dec 22, 2021 6:41 am

Hey Guys,

There is not a lot of action on this forum as of late.
I for one have enjoyed it for years and I may not post but I check in almost twice a day too see what is going on.
This has not been a very good year for me with my near death illness and storm damage to my house.
But I am here and I still enjoy 1/18th scale models.

Merry Christmas all you guys and have a Happy New Year !!!!
Ninja wishes happiness to you all as well.

Such strange times we're going through, but things could always be worse (think how bad things might have looked at any point in the past ten or so years, and then The Germ comes along and made those times seem like the good old days)...

but Christmas is about hope and being together, and we'll get through it all...!

Merry Christmas to all...!!! :)

PS Pickelhaube, my wife (and I) loved the pic of Ninja....

I too frequent the forum. I’m hoping to start posting some pictures of conversions as soon as I get settled in Texas. We moved from California and I benefited by my better half allowing (if you’re married you get it) me to have the large room upstairs (she said she does not need to go upstairs). This will allow me to display most of my stuff. Hopefully I will have it done by the summer and the pictures will be posted here. Until then Merry Christmas fellow collectors and forum members and God bless those wives….

p.s. thanks Matt for everything you contribute and all the help you offer in furthering the hobby :D :flag:

Indeed, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone. Remarkable how this community has endured for the last 17 years despite all that has transpired, both in this hobby and in the world around us. You all have kept the embers burning.

I'd also like to thank P51, Britt Dietz our board administrator for keeping this Small Scale Military
Headquarters alive since the days of Ground Pounders.

Been a couple of rough years. Wishing everyone a joyous Christmas and safe and healthy new Year. I've moved close to my Museum and downsized to a very small house. I liquidated most of my 1/18 and some 1/6 with the incredible help of local friend Mark, we all know as Razor17019. Can barely fit what I kept. I too look daily when online. Just haven't been contributing anything. Thanks to Britt for this site! It's been a big part of expanding my knowledge in armor and ground grunts. Got lots of updates to share in the coming year.

Take care all! :flag: :salute:
