Smaller Weapons Carrier (3/4 ton) in NC

Captain H.,

I've seen this smaller carrier in the New Bern Ave, Raleigh WalMart specifically and in other WalMarts (excluding Cary) in the Raleigh area.

The weapons carrier is a one and a half ton truck will the deuce is a two and half ton truck. Everything including the tires and wheels would be too small. Also the weapons carrier is a Dodge design and the Deuce is a GMC design. They dont resemble each other much.

The Dodge would not make a decent duece. Too many differences in body alone between the Dodge and the GMC and Studebaker dueces.

If you want a duece that bad, you can take one of the many 1/16 metal trucks that are around and change the cargo box to be military. It would make a great 1 1/2 ton Chevy cargo fruck. One set of double wheels in the rear is right there

Of course if you want modern, you are out of luck.

The WW2 dueces and the Chevy 1 & 1/2 ton cargo trucks (they are very similar in looks), but are all smaller than the modern dueces and the tires on the modern trucks are bigger and wider.

Of course, saying all that, go ahead and make what you want, your only limits are your modeling talents  I can pretty much guarantee that the 21C standards police will not be banging on your door if you mess up one of their WC-63's... pretty sure, anyway
