Well, the day has come. GP's board is no more. It's like loosing your favourite pair of slippers..

The reference pages and links are still there, but the site has lost its soul and character
Glad most of us are here, now, and under the same call signs! That gives a sense of continuity. I simply find it interesting how we all sort of communicate here and carry on disjointed conversations about XD products and the like. Its wierd how people who regularly post become familiar to a member, yet it is a familiarity with that person's call sign and the few sentences they post, not usually the person themselves. Both comforting and yet alienating...

Yeah I'm happy things just transferred here smooth. I think this can really be a jumping point for a site to deliver news/reviews/information about the line(s) we collect in one big, and routinely updated site.
For instance, Aferg, your call with Roy would've been ideal front page news... Topic and discussion ensuing of course here.
It was great stuff...
Site sponsorship from various stores and such...
I think P-51 has a big potential blowout for this scale, and a BIG collecting community beyond the forums (with a nice main page, news, etc.) is a big step in helping the collector momentum of the 1:18 scale roll on. This can be a really positive step forward I think.
If I'll miss anything, it'll just be GP himself...

Yup......
She is pretty much done, the gold status expired. I am very thankful that the transition went very quickly and pretty smoothly. That was my aim so that most of the membership would slide with it. I want to thank P51 and Aferguson for all there hardwork and for giving all you guys a new home. The deserve a round of applause and some hi-fives! From what I have seen already, you guys are going to be in for a treat with the new regime. I also look forward to being part of this new website and will be checking in fairly frequently soon.
Salute On Line,

New home ...
Thanks, GP for the great introduction to XD 1/18 scale and a wonderful ride. Thanks P51 for picking up the torch. It's so nice to see this carry on... I'm hooked!
It's sad to see the old site wind down, but, it seems everyone has already adjusted to this site.
Lock & load!
