Intresting that the Mr. "T" has popped up elsewhere
Curious to find out what you used for the gold chains and cross
My Wallyworld recon lately is as bleek as the Target recon, nothing new And to make it worse, I saw in 2 different stores the plan-a-gram for how they will be setting the toy dept.. Both only had 2 hooks of XD figures, both the same SKU # and they both match the standard single pack figure, not the dual packs Plus, no 1 18th vehicles either Well, guess I'll crawl back to my movie(Battle of the Bulge) and keep carving on my M-41 and Shermie tank to build my next creation Da General

KWR190, did you report a while back that the Lacey (Hawks Prarie) WM had the two figure packs? I went in tonight and found just three old D Day figures. I bought two of them hoping the see the shelves filled in the future. Drop me a line and let me know if they were there.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I picked up 2 Platoon figures I found at the Rehoboth WM. The others were already taken.....
Pretty dry on 21st stuff lately EXCEPT at TRU, hehehehe.. I'd never thought I'd hear myself say that after all these years.

Found all four Platoon figures plus two extras at the Scarborugh, ME Wal Mart. Bought 'em all plus a 1/32 Panzer 38t (great little model by the bye).
Apart from the dual packs, there is not much else in 1/18 at any Wal Mart I frequent. A few aircraft on clearence is about it.

I found the platoon figures this past weekend as well, and they're not real impressive... The Barnes and Taylor figures are the best sculpts for accuracy, the other two though, not so much. They look better on the back of the cards as far as accuracy goes...
Anyway, I got Barnes and Taylor and I'm happy with that. I may get a Willam Defoe someday but probably not for a while. The one for Dep just doesn't look like Dep to me at all...

Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

I agree you almost have to work your way through two or three looking for the best paint application - some even have little smudge flaws possible where it rubbed against the plastic? The Dep is the toughest one to recognize and I thought two of the 5 Defoe's looked pretty good - the others not as consistent. - I'll pick up two of each figure - maybe a few extras for a rainy day...Jesse James wrote:I found the platoon figures this past weekend as well, and they're not real impressive... On another note the PZ 38Ts are at almost every WM I check - sometimes the price on the shelf that matches the box will say $9.00 but it still rings up 14.98 - also be on the look out for the cold steel snap and screp models - I just picked up a Chaffee, and M3A1 for $5.00 each.
the 1:144 planes and armor are ranging from .50 to $1.00 depending on the WM

I found Platoon figures at my local Wally world today, picked up 1 each of 4 to do some FOV- Platoon cross over fig.s (see in Customs forum) and they seem to make good American FOV figures But the Charlie Sheen figure head was a bit small and narrow for the FOV helmet to fit on tight, but a tad of CA in the helmet allowed to dry made the helmet a bit tighter and is still removable Da General
