Sorry, that was bad recon. I was a little excited.

There is pre-fair coverage up now and they have the Hind in package ready to go. They also have new Elite Force 1/18 figures, including a guy with knee pads who I will guess is modern soldier, maybe SF, there is also an AA guy who appears to have an M60 and maybe (maybe) Vietnam.
There are also a few carded WWII guys that looked new I think - one guy looks like another Pathfinder, but overall I couldn't tell what was what from the pics. Check 'em out:

Yawn. They aren't showing anything new. Hopefully, they pull the finger out and show us the Hellcat or some other surprise. The only new thing I see (and we won't see in the stores) is the Aussie P-51. Did I mention Yawn?? Oh yeah, I did.....

As a former Air Defender who had to identify and target the Hind, this one(although toyish) is unique enough to pick up just for novelty sake
Thanks for posting the info!

Hey now, they said they would show nothing so at least we got to see something! New figures are huge for me, actually make my week, so even though you fly-boys got nothing the carded figs are big imo. Frankly, who really cares about a Hellcat? Just kidding...don't kill me...

New modern military figures would be cool. So bored with all these...YAWN....aircraft around here

Hope we see some closeups of those guys tomorrow. Then if TRU just stocks them.....

And that baby Hind just cracks me up.

sure Yawn -
but look at it this way -
Gets kids interested in military toys - and they will graduate to bigger and better 1:18 scale toys - keeping the industry alive - these kiddie yawn toys will - in the long run - help us get the a-10, F4, and Dauntles.

I mean - at least buy-em' up and place them in the toys for tots boxes this christmas!!

:D :D :D :D

I am really excited to see new figures personally i just wish we could get some close ups. I was just looking at the command force pictures of figure packs. is it me or does it not look like the one on the far left comes with some g36's from the new tru packs?

whats the articulation and weapons scale on all these figures, because they look a lot like the lanard 'Corps' type guys, which i have no real interest in

I have picked up a couple of sets. The scale is pretty good for the weapons and figures (i.e. better than Lanard).

Of course, the vehicles are toys, and are only good for toys, but as has been noted, they should provide a good starting point to get kids into the hobby.

CC weapons

Likely - The CC weapons are great if you snip off the little piece attached to the grip they become EF weapons. For the price the sets are good for the weapons alone.

Well I`ve got the first wave of these Target exclusive figures & I liked them, great as a base for customizing on & moreso they actually had pretty realistic appearances.
Add the Aircrew had the helmets with facemask added, always nice to have more Helo crewmembers for my helo fleet :D

The new stuff though I`m pretty happy looking at it,6 wheeler ATVs, Shame the M113 is too small :( Though the HIND looks great even though not truely 1/18th scale its still something I can see a LOT of people going nuts over :D

I for one will be hoping to get a lot of these & hopefully some of the weapons with the figures will be from the 2 new BBI weapon sets too :D

What is a bummer about those figures is that quality-wise they did not come out looking quite like the back of the package photos - paint masking and all.

If they had came out that well, I would have *loved* them.

Unfortunately, they kind of looked like dollar store crap due to the really bad paint masking.
