How Large Is Your XD Collection?

Post by immeww2 » Wed Feb 08, 2006 11:17 pm

I know this was posted quite awhile back, but since there have been a number of new and renewed releases, let's share with others how large your XD collections are.

Not nearly enough!
For me it costs an extra $45 usd in shipping for a plane, add the weak NZ dollar, and it ends up costing me $NZ 140, so they are quite an investment. If I lived in the states, I'm the kind of guy that would own every XD item out there, but I'll settle for living in good ole nuclear free NZ, and my 8 planes, 6 vehicles, a few buildings, about 50 figures and 9 1/16th rc tanks. Anyway, who else can say reasonably confidently that they have the largest XD collection in their country? :D

I have 30 planes (I'm counting my BBI Mustang and Corsair), 12 tanks, 5 halftracks, 4 wheeled vehicles, and 2 sets of each of the following figures: S1&2 Japanese, S1&2 Marines, BOB germans and US, OMG, and BBI Paras. I think that covers it. Everytime I think I am running out of space, I find new ways to organize

Let's see. For vehicles I have the RC Panzer IV, USMC Sherman, 1-1/2 ton truck, 3/4 CC, Hanomag, Tiger I. For figures, there are 5 Marines, 4 japanese, 3 OMG, 2 82nd Airborne, 2 US vehicle guys, 1 german tanker, 1 german paratrooper, and one BBI paratrooper. Not too shabby for never having owned XD until December. :D

If we are talking only XD 1/18, I have only one plane, the S1 Stuka. For vehicles I have at least one of every vehicle 21C made except the two recent RC's (Panzer and M113). For figures I have about 15 excluding an extra five Jeep drivers for future vehicke releases.

If we are talking about other 21C scales, I have about 10 1/32 vehicles and for 21C "dark side" 1/6, I have at least one of everything 21C has made but the big Bradley and the Humvee. For 1/6 figures, I have about 15 21C guys.
