Question about Kenner Indiana Jones truck?
Question about Kenner Indiana Jones truck?
Has anyone ever used the Kenner Indiana Jones ROLA German Mercerize-Benz truck in a diorama? I have one coming in the mail that is destine to be deployed to my North Africa diorama. What I need are opinions on if it is too toyish for a diorama? I will do some custom work on her. I guess I should have asked the board before I bought it, LOL
Thanks gang

I got one off Ebay a few months ago.
I got it and found it to be smaller to the US Truck.
You will need a small German driver figure to fit in front of the truck or take off lower legs on a regular figure.
Mine is not complete, but I like the look of it. If you added some customization/weathering to it, it will work with your XD stuff.
Good luck and post pics when you are finished with it.

Kind of off topic but since the Indiana Jones truck will be carrying troops and supporting this tank I thought I would post what I have done so far. The tank is not 100% complete but is almost there. Please let me know of any screw-ups you see.

WOW! That's a really nice looking tank!
I would suggest taking off the plastic cover to the truck bed and put on a more cloth looking material. You could make some wooden poles to hold it up out of small dowels or thick tooth picks.
If you can do the same job to the truck you did with the tank, I might have to send you mine to do.

Please post some pics when you know what you are going to do with it.

I have posted some pictures of what I have done with the Kenner truck. It is not close to being but let me know what you think or if you see something I need to change. I think I like the truck with out the top.
