Looking for custom work for 1/18 BBI P-51D

Post by LittleWing » Wed Oct 18, 2017 10:49 pm

Hi Guys and Girls,

I'm looking to hire a builder/painter to help customize a 1/18 BBI P-51D. I was told to try this forum and after looking around for a few weeks i'm in awe of the customs i've seen.

I'm looking for a builder who takes pride in their work in order to get as accurate and detailed as possible. This model will be presented to my Grandfather's brother, a P-51D pilot from Oklahoma who served with the 46th FG in the Pacific Theater from Iwo Jima in 1945.

Thanks very much, any and all help is appreciated. Please PM or email at [email protected]

:p51:

I would be happy to help you out but I will have no time to work on it until after the first of the year .

Do you have a pic of the 51 you want to replicate ?

I made a presentation C-123 about 20 years ago for a Vietnam pilot .

At the time there were no models so I made everything from scratch.

It brought tears to the pilots eyes when he received it .

To make someone happy like that makes all of this worth it !!!
Kirk Douglas : Mine hit the ground first
John Wayne : Mine was taller
