Small Scale Military Headquarters

This is a quick bash I did last night.



The Jeep is the Gate metal jeep that the guy was selling on EBay last year for like $5 (and I found out about it HERE in Small Scale HQ - Thanks!)

The C-Ration boxes are Verlinden 120mm ones. (I could have downloaded some 1/6 scale ones and re-sized them, but what the heck...)

The rope is actually candle wick from a craft store. It has a wire center, so it gives it a better "tight" look than just regular twine of the same size, IMHO. Plus it lays flat and straight better...

I need to weather the Jeep next, I guess (and work on some other projects...)

Looking good! Thanks for the tip on using candle wick for rope and the C-ration boxes look great. I need to make some of those.

Good idea!!! I got five of those jeeps from that same seller! What a deal!

Would anyone be willing to sell one of those jeeps?

I just got a solido but the top wont come off. I really would like one without the top.

My Solido's top comes off by taking the tire, radio antenna and gas can off.
