hello i have decided to try my hand at my first models.
so i got a few 1:16 german figures, usually i do toys so i can paint the parts seperately and then reasemble them after.
so im not certain how to go about painting this figure.
so i have a german tank commander.
since the majority of the uniform is black im trying to decide whether i should airbrush it or hand brush paint the uniform?
the other problem of course is it seems it would be easier to paint certain parts them put them on later.
but that leads to the problem of i guess your not suppose to use the model glue on painted surfaces, so if i do airbrush it black then later want to glue the arms and small pieces like medals on would that be a problem?
1:16 tamiya modeling questions?

Just scrape/sand the surfaces that will be glued together after you paint. Same thing you would do with the chromed parts that come with car models. Or if the surfaces are big enough, just mask them off.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.
