These are not the best pics but I just wanted to show the start of this project.
As many of you know Grunt1 is one of the guys who supply us with 1:18 custom kits
and parts that are not or haven't been offered in the past.

As I ran out of primer I used what ever I had......that's the reason for the different colors :? .
This is an impressive 3D printed kit, great details and sturdy. Over the next few days I'll be
posting some updates..........

Wow, what paint did you use for the dunkelgelb?

The dunkelgelb is Tamiya Acrilic XF 59 Desert Yellow, this was used as the base color.
The plan is a tri color ambush scheme similar to the Leopard I did.

Hmm... I use Tamiya and your base coat looks a lot better than what I am used to achieving. How many coats and was it airbrushed or rattle can?

By the way, with a little work you can switch the wheels over to metal rod axles and your Puma will roll like a champ into battle down the driveway or across the kitchen floor.. Use the holes on the suspension arms where the wheel mounting nubs fit into as guides for drill points into the chassis. Then clip the nub off of each wheel and use the remaining stump as a guide for another hole. :-)

One coat of the base and before that two coats of primer. Primer was spray can base coat was airbrushed.
Still a long way to go but here's another pic....

I do like the metal rods for axles, how did you set them in the wheel with them being hollow.
I was thinking of also doing a 234/4 “Pak-wagen”.

That was a while ago, but I believe I used two part epoxy so it would partially fill the tire interior enough to allow the rods to anchor well.

Thanks Grunt, sounds like a great idea.

I've made a little more progress on your 234/4 kit....
