FW 190 Gear Question

Post by mkxiv » Wed Nov 17, 2004 9:15 pm

The latches for the gear. Are they supposed to lock into place? Or are supposed to lay against the notch on the gear. They latter looks correct as the real aircraft would have the gears angling inwards.

You're right - the tabs are supposed to lay against the notch on the gear strut. Its cool that 21st enabled the gear to be displayed in this accurate manner when the plane sits on a flat surface! Looks like there will be a similar feature on the new ME-109G.

Yes, the latch just lays against the notch.. The landing gear should angle in.. :D
