Some of you may have already seen this and forgive me if it's already been posted. It's an amazing five page thread showing the original large scale (think big back yard size) 1:16 RC battlefield and a significant number of custom fabricated pieces like bunkers, mortar pits, bridges, and more that are mostly crewed by 1:18 figures and non-RC vehicles.

I was blown away...

Talent and dedication there to an extreme beyond extreme :!:
Better hope it doesn't rain. Not sure how long it would take to break all that down. 8)

Those guys have made the best of what these 1/18 vehicles and figures can offer. Small scenes and dioramas are used to accessorize the vehicle or figures. Here, they are not the feature but the accessories. Similar to how many 1/6 guys use vehicles as the accessories to their highly detailed figures.

Thanks to G-1 for posting that!

Outstanding!! The last time I saw their site the guys had just finished the bridge, they sure have been working. I'll be keeping an eye on their future progress.
I had similar ideas for a diorama...this was for the dio contest here a few years ago...........

Thanks Axis, I used a styrofoam display base by Lemax.

I picked it up at Michaels craft store. A little cutting, wood, glue and paint and you have a display in no time.
This is the time of year and just after Christmas when you can find plenty of items for 1:18 / 1:16 displays.
