Deliberate BBI Factory Mistake?

Hi Guys,
I've noticed something strange with the Marine Force serie of figures. Corporal Jackson has a green camo suit, but desert camo chest pouches and bottle. And vice versa for Major Mike, but he has a correct desert flask. The same happens with the desert helmet camo from the green dressed Colonel Tin and conversaly with 1st Lieutenant Louis.
Less evident, the green camo vest of 1st Sergent Owl who wears a desert camo suit, nothing to mix with Captain Tony.
Was it an initial mistake that BBI could'nt correct after launching the serie, or did they want us to buy the all serie and to missmatch the figure's stuff to restore a coherent look?
This is what I finally decided to do. By the way, I like the camo of these figures more than the colours of the USMC serie, it has more brown and beige stains for the desert camo and khaki for the european NATO camo. Both fits better in a mountainous environment. Just sorry that they were more difficult to find than the USMC serie figures, have only one or two of each when I've plenty of the USMC soldiers. I also like the really more jungle camo (green, black, brown and light grey) from 3 of the Army Desert Support Weapon Team. Were they intended to hide and operate only in oasis?
