Finished this beast today it's to bad 21st did not do one of these in 1/18 it really looks impressive when done.Ok let's get down to the build I used the panzer chassis and scratch built everything above it the hardest part being the gun mantle. All hatches were made to open and put all periscopes in fighting positions.Tools are weathered and cablels were made from nylon rope this gives a more scale look to the cable and they can be laid to look real.Paint is done in tamiya acrylic with my own mixture for yellow.Brown and green are Polly S with tamiya brown added.Back of tank was airbrushed with greys and black to give rear a weathered look.Custom decals added and chipping and weathering as well track was also painted.I used a aztec airbrush for all of this also the glare on back of tank were decal is is gloss to adhere decal it has been dullcoted since. This tank has been sold to a private collector.

Very nice job! If 21st decides to make one they should hire you as the master modeler. Thanks for sharing.

That's way better than 21c could do but you're right, it's very surprising they haven't made one by now, considering they already had the chassis for it.

Beautiful work.

Very nice work! Personally I keep my custom pieces a little while before selling Just curious why you sold it so it so quickly? Was this a pre-paid project? Anything else in the pipeline? Thanks for sharing the pics!

thanks alot guys for all the great comments it means alot.I was asked to build one of these for a long time client it took me about 3 weeks of on and off work he is a huge german armor fan and he wanted a jagdpanther.I also have to build him a STRUMTIGER thats my next project.I'm going to be starting that in the next few weeks just getting together drawings and demensions.Again using the bottom chassis of tiger for a base start. 21st century a big thumbs up for a great building block for making other tanks.

Nice work. Always great to see customization in this scale. One of the other board members did this conversion a while back as I recall. Good job, too.

Hope to see more of your work!

Cheers,

That one sweet looking Jadg you built PC!!! Great paint job and weathering as well. I hope your getting some big bucks for the "beast", I know how much time and effort go into one of these customs. I just can't seem to find much extra time these dayz  Nice work now Bring on the Strumtiger.
