Poor 21c, they've been jumpped yet again! Forget the repaints and get on the ball with the new armor and planes!

Anyone ever dealt with the Military Toy Shop before? I can't say I ever have, just wondering what I can expect.

Will Badcat be getting the F-86?

Jericoeagle1 I just fixed the problem with Pre-Ordering the F-86. It should work now.

Also I just wanted to let everyone know that I am one of the Owners of MilitaryToyShop.com. I have been collecting 1:18 and following the Groundpounder forum since the beginning. If you guys need anything or have any problems feel free to PM me, or contact me via the info on the website. Any feedback is always greatly appreciated. On another note I had a great conversation with the owner of Admiral Toys and I think we are going to see great things from these guys!!!

Guys, let me just give a HUGE vote of confidence to Isaiah and MilitaryToyShop.com. I know when new retailers come around we are often suspect - rightfully so - of their legitimacy and reliability. But I had a great experience ordering from them, spoke to Isaiah on the phone to amend my order and overall I was very pleased. :)

Hi mkxiv,

Some other small retailers in the past have done this and thought I would ask you: Is it possible to give the board members a small discount on the pre-orders you have on your site??

Or

Buy 2 pre-order planes and pay reduced shipping?
(Badcats did this for the Zero when it first came out)

This board welcomes more on-line retailers to feed our need!

They should be on the boat around the end of next week or the week after. We will begin pre-ordering at that time. We will notify those who have been asked to be put on the notification list, when the time comes.

I encourage you to use the retailers that we are working with and if you choose to preorder through them that would be wonderful. Just know that you cannot place a preorder on our website. It will not work until we are ready for preorders."

USCGSARdog: I tried Military Toyshop.com the other day and was greatly pleased. Had a long chat with Isaiah (the proprietor), and concluded he's a very nice guy who really knows military aviation. The stuff I ordered arrived quickly and in great shape. I'd rank Military Toyshop.com up there with Badcat Toys, Flying Mule, Aikens Airplanes, The Motor Pool, 3000 toys, OnMark Int, House of Hobbies.com, Onsite Diecast, Diecast Direct and many other fine folks in this business. Frankly, I've encountered very few turkeys in the military model business. I thinks its economic Darwinism. :)
Go Starbuck!

Everything I have heard about MTS has been favorable, and that is what I was hoping to hear. I could always use another reputable source for my 1/18 scale collection.

Sorry I sound so sketched out about an e-tailer that I have yet to deal with.... getting burned is not on my list of things to do.

Thanks for your reply Isaiah, I look forward to doing business with you!

Its nice to see another company getting into the mix to give BBI and 21st a run for their money. 2006 should be a very interesting year! With all the positive stuff being said about MTS I think I'll have to do some ordering from them.

Admiral has posted pre-order info: Start accepting orders on Jan 26; $58.99. I assume this does not include shipping. No mention I can find of the undecorated version.

That is very good news - it means they will beat the end of the month shipping deadline. Finally some new AC after almost 6 months....

Ordered one from Admiral's site and one from Bad Cat's site. The Cat is about $6.50 cheaper with shipping & tax.
