am i missing something here?

look at the shipping on this, look at how it blatantly says (By bidding on my auctions the bidder agrees to my terms including any shipping and handling costs. )
and look at all the bids!

If you note in the description field it says shipping $10.00. The cost fields that the seller fills out on the ebay form are automatically entered when he does the auction, so it is most likely a typo. Since the description says $10, that is what you would pay. If you are interested in the item, email the seller and he can alter the shipping to be correct before you bid.

that is true but he says 1000 several times and specifically says By bidding on my auctions the bidder agrees to my terms including any shipping and handling costs.
i dont recall any of the auctions ive ever bidded on before mentioning that so promenantly.
i could be a big mistake error in his listing but i have seen in a star wars forum before where someone on ebay selling a single figure had $150 for shipping and when asked he gave many arguments as to why it was a reasonable shipping price.
its been less than a years since i bought that for 25 at tru.
i wasnt interested i was just shocked to see it.
you just never know?

yeah i looked at his other items they all say $10 so i dont know why that one says$1000, but to me if it said 100 i might think its a typo but he would have had to accidently hit 0 twice.
then i thought maybe it stayed in the system from the last item he sold or something, but i cant figure what would cost that much for shipping, for a moment i thought maybe hes selling a real Kubelwagen

I may be wrong but I thought you can edit an auction (to make an obvious correction) up until the time someone makes a bid and then that auction must remain unchanged. That would explain the S&H staying at $1,000.
At that price for a Kubel, I'd want the seller to hand deliver the piece, cook me dinner AND clean my house and yard
...and my neighbors yard...

dont forget bath the dog.
some of the ebay fields that you fill in are a bit tricky. The seller probably typed in 10.00 in the dollar field. The field would ignore the decimal and just recoreed it as 1000 dollars. The cents field would have 00 in it as a default.
And yes, once a bid is placed you can't change anything in your listing...to prevent hoodwinking people.
I just realized this thread is really much ado about nothing but is somewhat entertaining.

Some people have a mission in life and that is to entertain other people.
Then of course, there are people like us, who collect toys and endlessly pre-order planes that never arrive. Avenger anyone
I've gone through two e-tailers and I'm on my third and still waiting

I left off "wash the dog"......my son's "significant other" is a groomer and she grooms our cat. Ever give a cat a bath??
That girl has guts, she is about 100 lbs soaking wet and she does Bernards and Mastiff's like they were stupid little peanut dogs. This girl's whole life is dogs, dogs and of course, my son (natural progression, my son is like a big junk yard dog).

This is the same seller who I won a BBI 1/18 P-51 from yesterday!
They charged me $25 for airmail shipping to the UK, which is about half what most US sellers charge. (Most eBay sellers have quoted me $40 or more to ship a 1/18 plane to the UK) So
I'm guessing that their $1000 on the Kubel is just an error/typo.

You're worried about sounding tuff???? Sorry guy, but you collect dollies and toys!!!!! Hate to break it to you, but that doesn't sound too tuff to begin with.
Anyway, we're both preaching to the choir
Whatever boat we are all in, we are all in it together.
My daughter had three cats, one is left alive after 15 years, she is about 110 man years old and she does whatever she wants, her and Mrs. TTT rule this house. The cat is scared of nothing, except Mrs. TTT and the wolves that live in the basement. My future daughter-in-law does some grooming in our basement office and when those REALY big dogs yowl the walls vibrate. That's the only time the cat comes to curl up next tp me for protection. The girl has a Jack Russell who is a great dog and the dog tries to be friends with my cat but the cat wants no part of any stinken dog.
All the cat does is sleep, eat and fill up the cat box. That's OK because if nobody is looking the Jack Ruissell will clean the box for us. Which one is the smart one?

Now you've done it
Are you saying there is something wrong with my 1/6 dolls just because I change the clothes???
Boy, you are a tuff guy
My daughter likes to break chops by changing hats on my little guys when I'm not looking. Right now I'm looking at my tank commander in his 1/6 Stuart and he has a Christmas tree ornament on his helmet and a .45 in his hand pointed at a little Rudolph next to him on the turret. The pose is "Mess with me and the raindeer gets it!!!"
I let them amuse themselves but they live with my one iron rule, ......no messing with General Patton. I have five different General Patton's and nobody disrespects the General. Go ahead, mess with Rommel but not Patton.
Now what was this thread about?
I get carried away into the Twilight Zone of toys and dollies.
