Poll time! Just curious..... What is your most anticipated 1:18 Vehicle?? Some vehicles listed have released, but haven't made it to everybody yet.

My choice is the Panzer IV. So many ideas and so little time. I have to have many and can't wait. I wonder how long 21st C will make us wait for it.

Hey Ski you forgot one category: XD or BBI Zero

Where did you hear that about the Avenger's wings Ski? Everything i've heard says it won't have folding wings but it will come with three crewman, one being molded in pose to fit into the turret and the other two being regular articulated type figures.

I hope you're right about the wings..

btw i picked the Panzer IV only because we are at last seeing a new piece of wwii armour. If that were a routine thing i would have picked the Avenger, then the F-16, then the Pz IV.

I am greatly anticipating all of them, however.

Ski , I've got to go with the Panzer IV first, then the Avenger. I'm looking to do some customs on the Panzer IV and then a repaint on the Avenger to make it a Pasific version. As far as I know the Avenger from 21st is in the Atlantic paint scheme. I need one soon! My Father inlaw flew in one during the second world war and hitting 80+years old time is running out. OK maybe the Avenger first.

I will have to vote for the Avenger. This is going to be one nice looking plane!

My vote is for the Panzer since I favour armoured pieces over aircraft, but the Avenger is also high on my list too!

It was an easy choice for me as an armor guy and that tank is so important to the collection. Excited is not a strong enough word....

But I must admit I might have to get the Avenger as it's just such a cool plane.

The Avenger sounds great, but 21st has disappointed me too many times. Sorry, 21st, but my vote is for something we'll actually see in a timely manner, the bbi P-51.

I just voted for the avenger! I also thought I recalled an older thread on folding wings! I sure hope that it will because that would be soooo cooool!

Wow, the spirit of election season has really gotten to the board! Now we're casting our own polls. I cast for the Avenger. Just the thought of all the potential moving parts: canopy, turret, bombay w/ torpedo, side door, control surfaces, landing gear, plus the fact that I love the plane, makes me anticipate this one the most. (I've also heard the rumor that it will have folding wings from someone with contacts at 21st - the XD dealer at my Hobbytown USA store) Could we have voted for more than one option, I'd have put down in order, the BBI F-16, BBI P-51, 21st Panzer IV, 21st ME-109G.

The Avenger is what I'm waiting for. I hope Ski is right and the airplane has folding wings. I'll put it on a shelf to save space on my ceiling for the ZERO..... How's that for being an optimist!

If I stick with Ski's categories, then it's the Avenger.

But what I'm absolutely truely most anticipating is the F-4 PHANTOM.

Though I voted for the Avenger, I want them all---muhahahamuhahahmuhaha (Is that enough of mad toy collector laughs--no!)muhahamuhahmauhah

Since the Zero was not listed, I voted for the TBM.
I don't understand why 21st opted for a North Atlantic scheme when 90% were Non-Spec?
I'll have to wait for a blue or even a TBF in tricolor.

Very smart to exclude the Zero.
Obviously the Zero would win.
Just like a B-17 would win, if 21st would make one.....

The list was based on known, concrete releases, thus the word "anticipated" instead of "hoped for". I know the Zero would be right on top of the list........

My votes for the Mk IV. Always loved the look of it.

Its very interesting but this poll reflects what has been said on this board and by 21st ... armor isn't that great of a seller. Only about 20% of the people have the Mk IV listed. People are voting for repaints of existing aircraft over new armor. Sad news for me as I don't collect the planes but quantitively informative. For my WWII armor collection's sake, I hope bbi isn't looking at this poll

I just can't wait for the Avenger, curious how they've done the mechanism for the folding wings. Also the 109G-6's outta be showing up at WM any day now, especially since the bubbletop P-47's are starting to show up. I'd say all is not lost with armor, BBi definitely won't give it up as that is their forte'.

red: that's one way of looking at it. The other way is that the Panzer IV is the second choice out of a bunch of cool new stuff. including the 109G, Bubbletop P-47 and F-16! I think that it's incredible that it is coming in a strong second in that field!
