Saw this on Ebay for $38,000.00 obo. it was made by Maurice Tiffault. I included another site that shows the plane in more detail. Oh to have that kind of money.

Wow, that's fantastic! But for $38K, I could buy a new car or even a real plane

He spent so much time and effort on the interior and went simple on the exterior.
Those huge rivets on the canopy frames and absolutely NO DETAIL on the engines .
Plus it looks like he got the shape of the engine nacells wrong.
For 38 K it should be perfect.

As Pickelhaube said, for that price it should be perfect. I noticed a LOT of out of scale details in the interior shots, in addition to the nacelles being way off, plus the oversize rivets in the nose section. Nice, but not worth 38 K......

Couldn't he have faked some cylinders at least so you could see SOMETHING when you look in the nacelles?
It's a real shame when people put in so much effort into a project and screw up small - but crucial - things like that.

Nice, but not perfect. As has been pointed out, has some flaws and oversights.
Certainly not worth $38,000, in my opinion.

For that price you would think all Insignia would have been painted not a tacky decal like that

Hopefully, those are Monokote or something long lasting. Vinyl stickers can age, dry out and crack. A decade from now, it might look like this...

Know exactly what you're talking about as I restore old Tamiya R/C cars. But for this level of model building, why on earth wouldn't you paint on the insignias? It's a baffling choice really.

Even with it's short comings, I would love to have 1/10 his abilities.
