1/18th Scale P-36 Mohawk Revisited ?

Other than Supersonic FiFi reposting of my P-36 I have had a few guys inquire if this can be brought back to life .
When I first made it I was still thinking XD , so I kept the screw holes in the body surface.
The new molds ( if this comes back to life ) will not have them and I plan to build in interlocking tabs to help align the fuselage.
I also may entertain the idea of cast the rest of the P-40 to offer in the kit.
I need to check the availability and cost of the P-40s on the market.
I think cost was $150 for the fuse and other parts in the bare bones mod.
Are there anymore guys who are interested in it ?
Here is the 7 year old post of the original project .

Today on e-bay there are about 12 p-40s on ebay
1. P-40 with a bunch of parts missing $25
2. Flying tigers fixing to cook off in a few hours $76
3. Multiples around $100
4. Multiples around $200
5. Multiples around $300

Hey Studly,
The free French P-36 or was that the R-75 ? Was definitely cool looking but don't forget the RAF they had a lot of the 36 's in action in INDIA .
I have been looking but can not find any 36/75 in Aussie markings.
The response for the rebirth of this project is a little of a let down but I do believe that the P-36 should get a second lease on life.
My skill set has gotten a little better in the past 7 years and my knowledge of making molds has benefited as well. .
IF I can ever get caught up I will make a few corrections on the new kit as well as make more modeler friendly .
And I will definitely consider making the FULL kit .
I am thinking about $225 - $250 for a full kit and of course doubling that for a full build.
Back on the list of things to do in 2015 .
This broken wrist REALLY messed things up for me as far as getting stuff out to you guys.
By now I would have liked to have the Jagdpanther out and have the 251 backdate as well.
OH well
If I ever get caught up

Here is food for thought a couple of nice paint schemes. The RAAF didn't use these Matt .

Cheers

Sure !
But I am not sure which one you want the pointy cone shape or the cone with the lens in it ?
Both should be a cinch to do.
