M-72 LAW in 1:18
M-72 LAW in 1:18
I'm producing this along with my work on the rucksacks. To my knowledge, this will be the first accurately scaled M-72A1 LAW in 1:18. But since it is the same body style as the current M-72A7 LAW, it can be used for modern Afghanistan inspired work as well.
I had this modeled to be placed under one of my rucksacks. If you'd like to see more on the packs, please visit my posting on military rucksack castings.
Yes, it's a shameless plug. I think my progress reports are buried because no one notices that I am posting new stuff.
Your feedback is critical! Although I'm focused right now on Vietnam, I'm dedicated to bringing 1:18 gear into existence. Without your feedback then I'm just wasting my own money working on this!

Re: M-72 LAW in 1:18
first good luck, I like your backpacks, not sure how marketable, I have been collecting 1/18th for 20 years and have many in my spare parts box. I think somebody released a vietnam LAW years ago. I will post a picture later. Might have been with the Century 21 seal jeep, also have a machette....tomd

Thanks. We'll see. I have some interest in Fighting 1:18th, but we'll see if it covers the cost of getting these things developed!
As for the LAW, PTE made one that is way undersized for 1:18. I haven't seen any others.

Could be a very nice work again, Apache 26. But I'm still only in modern 1/18 stuff (meaning Irak/Afghanistan). Don't know the difference between the M-72 and the M-72A7. The sight, perheaps?
Re: M-72 LAW in 1:18
The M-72A7 has different end caps (black rubber) and the addition of a rail mount for optics. It is, otherwise, identical in its operation and handling.
