Can anyone read Japanese?

I'm referring in particular to the Chippy Ho version. Seems like an exclusive to this retailer.

When I try this link, my screen does display each item title in english and does note each as 1/18. Very interesting. I guess the Chippy Ho is the new repaint for the bbi FA/18. Very nice looking. I wonder if we can get some info from BatCat on this.

the scales show on my screen. All the planes are 1/18 except for the lot at the bottom which are 32x planes.

A couple of interesting new paints for the F-18, huh.

Very interesting repaint. I like it save for the "Chippy Ho" lettering! I also like what that site has done with the pictures of all the planes. BCA should do that. It allows one to get a good, close, look at the details.

It also shows scale when I link. That is one neat looking bird that Chippy Ho. I wonder how much that site is selling them for? Anyone notice their index page. They have a flash picture show, with some interesting stuff. There is one with a Haleakala II P-38 and at the bottom you can see a Jeep with a red and white checkered front end. Looks cool, but odd.

So, they are 1:18. Juz wanted to be sure.Thanx for the confirmation fellas!

Concur with Tman's suggestion about enhancing the pics so that the detail on 'em birds shows up better.

Note the intake covers and RBF tags on the Chippy Ho......... very nice! Custom add on or new production improvements? Place your bets now. 8)

I actually like the "Chippy Ho", having seen the real deal it's pretty accurate aside from the semi cartoonish eagle head on the nose but nice regardless.

That VFA-195 paint scheme is really cool! They aren't far off at all on the scheme:

Maybe a bit of work on the eagle, but damn close nonetheless..........

Buzzard,

The 1:18 Blue Angels is an "Original Paint" version--meaning custom paint job. Pricing is noted as JYE 85,000 - (including the base aircraft model) which works out to around US$820. This is only the starting price, with a footnote indicating that the actual amount would vary by the specific squadron/unit colors selected for customization.

The Chippy Ho is also an "original paint" version, selected as a favorite of the Phantom team. In addition to custom paint schemes, they also accept orders for accessories/detailing services. The landing gear, a problem for this model, have also been reinforced. No price indicated, but the text urges anyone interested to contact Phantom quickly because supplies of the base aircraft are limited.

The Golden Dragon appears to be stock, but the price is JYE 31,500, or just over US$300......
