Post by Jnewboy » Tue Aug 12, 2014 1:07 pm

I understand that the owner works allot and is gone often but does anyone know if those projects that were in the wings like the RSO or the swimwagen are ever going to actually be made? I have measages to the owner sitting in my out box for more than half a year now..

You can still order Battleground products from shapeways, I just think Grunt is out making a living.
The RSO and Schwimmwagen my be on hold for now (lets hope) or it might be cost prohibitive :? .

Cost seems to be the major issue with 3-D printing, the products are great but print time costs are high.

I would love to get his puma, but I am always looking for some small shapeways discount coupon to cut the price a little.

Well ........

I would say no not really.

Pat - Grunt has been on the road with his job almost all year.

Real life work always trumps toys. UNFORTUNATELY

I can contest to this.

As others have mentioned all of his kits are still available on Shapeways and you can go directly to them for your orders.

He gave them the original plots and they take that and make the 3-D prints.

I did not mean are his products still avalible I just meant is he going to produce anything more? I agree 3D printing is insanely expensive. Even if the RSO did come out it would be a fortune. So why cant they make it in parts and then cast them and make resin copies?? Mathew now that you have more time you should try to get your hands on that RSO he made and chop it up and make copies and kit it out!! I would love an RSO!!! 8) 8)

The RSO would be a great addition to the Custom 1:18 line.

I hope Grunt makes it.
