THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND NOW FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS & HAVE BEEN COVERED ON SEVERAL PREVIOUS POSTS. I HAVE JUST ORDERED THE NEW PAINT SCHEME, BUT I WOULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY WITH JUST ONE ONLY OTHERWISE. INTERESTING AT FIRST, BUT YOU SOON TIRE OF PLACING SLIPPED TREATS BACK ON EVERY TIME YOU DO A QUICK TURN OR TURNING THE SOUND SWITCH OFF TO GIVE YOURSELF A BREAK FROM THE NOISE. AS SAID BEFORE, I DO NOT LIKE THE WAY THE TURRET LIFTS & LOWERS AS YOU ROTATE IT. HAVING SAID THIS IT IS STILL A MUST HAVE AS IT FITS IN OF COURSE WITH THE REST OF THE 1/18 21ST STABLE & THE PRICE AS USUAL CANNOT BE FAULTED. AT LEAST ITS SOMETHING NEW.

Yeah, they've been around a while and have been the subject of two or three threads on this page. There are now two paint versions of the RC Panzer IV and the RC M113 out now.
The Panzer is by far the most fun and has a very powerful motor and reciever for such a little vehicle. For example, it can easily climb a slope angled nearly 45 degrees, roll over obstacles nearly 3" high, and can be operated at least 300 feet away from the control! Proportionally, it moves way too fast for a Panzer IV. The turret rotation is a nice feature, though the automatic gun elevation is a little odd. Some board members have opened the tank up and fixed that. It also has the firing recoil function that causes the tank to jump back a few inches when the gun is "fired." The sound is optional and a little staticy but features engine idle, drive, and cannon fire sounds.
There is the track skipping during sharp turns - which could be rectified if the tank didn't move quite so fast - as well as the occasional catching of the idler wheel during a turn on soft or excessively rough terrain. While annoying, those, can be easily rectified and are not serious defects with the tank itself.
Get one, you'll be pleased!

I am getting one for Christmas. I might see if I can put an airsoft gun into it. Too bad there aren't any rc shermans or t-34's as affordable to have a little skirmish with
welcome

ZBEAR, Welcome
Funny you mention it, 21st showed an RC Sherman years ago. That in plastic is so light I bet it would fly.

GOT MY TANK OUT OF LAYAWAY LAST NIGHT.
MY WIFE WON'T LET ME PLAY WITH IT UNTIL AFTER CHRISTMAS.
IF THE PRICE IS LOWER AFYTER CHRISTMAS I MIGHT GET ANOTHER ONE AND TRY TO BUILD A JAGDPANZER
ANYONE THAT HAS TAKED IT APART HOW MUCH ROOM IS IN THE TURRENT?
I AM THINKING ABOUT PUTTING AN AIRSOFT GUN IN IT
