For me, the total cost plus shipping would be $277.

PICKELHAUBE:

Ironically, last night after posting this thread, I was watching an episode from a dvd documentary set narrated by Charlton Heston---it was about POWs and included Jochen Peiper (one of the FOV 1/16 figures) being accused of ordering the Malmedy Massacre.

They are nice figures but not THAT nice, especially being static figures. FOV put these out individually boxed years ago, don't understand why they just don't do that with all their figures.

What was the original price for the FOV 1/16 figure set?

(The price for the FOV 1/16 Peiper King Tiger is about triple the original price).

Each figure came in it's own box. As I recall they were like $15 or 20 when they came out back then.

MARITIME96:

I didn't realize the figures originally sold for that much. The ebay seller's price is roughly 300% more than the original price which is similar to to the FOV 1/16 Peiper King Tiger which is averaging about 300% more ($1,200) on ebay.

Yeah the 300% more thing boggles my brain. Guys will spend thousands on a 1/16 high end tank week in and week out - hundreds on the non articulated figures for it, but we can't get one lousy company to give us 1 new piece of 1:18 armor. Thank god for Pickle, Aracula and the rest for building such great customs to keep the scale alive.
