Still have my Borough of Lambeth too. I wonder if they took an actual pic of it for the cover?

Great thread and really glad to see some history for the "Borough of Lambeth" Spitfire. I knew it was based on a real plane, but didn't know that parts of it have actually survived to the present. Very nice reads.
This was always my favorite of the 21c Spitfires and was one I got way back in the day at Wal Mart in 2004 (in the old Motorworks box). Mine is currently out on display and I'm looking over at it while I type I also have the 610 Sq. Spitfire (DW-K), though I never liked how the squadron markings and national insignia were not aligned...
