This is Fantastic but since i am not a real modeller i can't finish it ! But i am really thinking about this rare opportunity (I allready hold a 21st century toy P51 prototype with a different proppeler) so this one could be nice but there is too much taxes on EBAY ! (With shipping to France it double the cost !)

Anyway it's nicer than the skywork conversion (wich was a little bit too bulky )

That's too bad the P51C was not produced !

What needs to be done with this prototype is that it needs to become the master for a new production line of B/C's for all of us! Why should one lucky (wealthy) person have all the fun?

TKO mentioned a while back that 21st Century Toys was thinking of doing a P-51B Mustang at one time.
I didn't know it made it to prototype.

This and the 1:32 B-17 which also made it to prototype were a couple of outstanding ideas imo.
Think of the schemes in both olive drab and silver they could have done, along with all the colorful nose art. Whereas the P-51D had fewer choices in OD.
It's a cryin' shame we never saw this model reach production.

If Merit or BBI were smart this would be on their short list of planes to do. They would sell as good as if not better than the P-51D did I think.

I can't afford this, have the modeling skills to finish it, or would want to finish such a rare thing.
Thanks for enlightening us on what could have been.
