Red Devils F/A-18 update....

The Red Devils F/A-18, shown on BCT's website a couple of months ago, has been "Pushed back due to problems with its paint". The person from BCT with whom I spoke only said that it would be pushed back until some time next year.
Just thought I'd pass this tid-bit on...... I know a couple of folks here were interested in that project. Hopefully next year means January!

Thank you! I can't wait to get one of these. I'm actually going to pass on the Jolly Rodger F/A-18 and wait for the Red Devils. It'll be the first close by schemed aircraft in 1:18 scale that I get!

I agree, I'm going to pass on the JR with hopes of getting the Red Devil bug a little later. Its a tuff call because I too am looking for aircraft schemes stationed near my home. Of course VFA- 103 is at Oceana, but the JR paint scheme on a C model Hornet just isn't authentic. However, it sure looks cool! Now, if bbi released an F/A-18C with VFA-81, 83, 105, 131, or 136 markings I'd be all over it. Hell, give me a nice set of 1/18 scale decals from one of these squadrons and I'll make my own!

Yeah, I wouldn't mind a blank F-18C either, I'd love to put on VMFA-101 'Sharpshooters' and the famous VMFA-314 'Black Knights' squadrons.
