I think I finally made a version that will work. As many of you know I have had many problems with the videos being kicked off Youtube for copyrighted music. I used music that is public domain this time. It will work now.

Amazing amazing work. Very insprirational. This custom build must cost a fortune. I'm about to build a 2nd Ho229 day fighter but only in 1:48

I don't want to sound like a war Mongol, but the Horten is one that I wished had made it through the war.

And wished I hadn't missed the boat on this 1/18 project but will have to settle for a 1/48 version too.

Sorry to dig this out again .

The horror of the kits and full builds is slowly fading away and I am slowly ever so slowly starting to like this project. Again .

BTW

An investor from Colorado has actually paid for the WHOLE project ( moulds and all ) and with time the 1/18th Horten may see the light of day.

Matthew, I know you put in many many hours and plenty of money into this project, but the outcome
was one of the most unique 1:18 aircraft EVER!!!!
It always puzzled me........ why didn't any of the 1:18 model/toy companies ever approach you about
your work on this? Oh well, maybe after the Smithsonian finishes its restoration of the 229 and its put
on public display there will be a renewed interest in this plane.
Great job on these kits Matthew, the two I've built are the pride of my aircraft collection!

Mine, which was one of PH's full builds, hangs in flight in a place of honor in my "study". It looks just as good as the 21c models displayed near it. A true work of art.

Great video, really reflects all the hard work put into the making of this model. Makes me regret not getting one. Have you been watching Wings of the Luftwaffe lately?
