Military One
Does anyone remember a toy line from the 80's called Military One? I cannot recall much about them. I just remember that they had articulation much like the old Star Wars figures, came blister carded, the card looked like a big number one, were almost 4" tall, and there was figures representing the various armed forces. Anyone know who made them? Anyone have pictures of the various figures or card backs? I would like to find more information about them. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Not sure if they were released outside the U.S. or not. But I do remember that they put me in mind of the early UK Action Force figures as far as design sculpts. But I recall there were U.S. Navy and Air Force figures. The big 1 of the card had a goldish almost bronze color to it and I think in the U.S. they were available around the time of the Remco Sgt. Rock/Bad Guys line so that would be maybe 1982 or 1983. I have only seen a picture of them on the internet one time, it was an EBay auction, and that was probablly about half a year ago.

One who remembers One
Yes, I had some of those as a kid. I think I saw online that they also had an offshoot line of female military figures of WWII, but I don't remember ever seeing those. The sculpts were pretty good on the ones I had, articulation was cold Star Wars Vintage and I don't think they had any accessories. I got them at the grocery store. There are some pics online somewhere but I can't remember where.
I remember these, I had a bunch of them but don't remember who made them. There was an Army and Marine figure which were the same except for paint job, a green beret and terrorist (same body as Army and Marine but witha headsculpt with a beret), a paratrooper, a sailor (in white), a frogman, a pilot and 3 vehicles, a rubber raft, helicopter and jeep. There were also the 4 female figures representing the different armed forces (all the same figure with different paint jobs) she had on a dress uniform with skirt. Most of the line could pass for WWII. I may have a few of these still around somewhere. They came out in about '82 to cash in on the popularity of the small Joes.
