PTE TYPE 92 IFV Another Custom and Diorama

Post by granch » Wed Feb 13, 2013 2:32 pm

Hi all
It is just a repaint and some antennas added for both IFV, but the "187" also got a concrete balast and is waterproof, so it can float. Some of my pics previously published in a smaller size in the Foxhole Contest. I wanted to make a small story, in a lost middle east country (I think the Pakistan Army has this APC tank):
Revolutionnary are surprised by the intrusion of a regular troop detachment in their valley: Image
Detail: Preparing an improvised attack:

The IFV patrol now under fire (with small fireworks, very difficult to press the button at the right time!):
Image
A too long burst (a handfull gravel throwed into the "lake"):

But the patrol could go forward:

Thank you for looking!
PS: Would have been nice with a Pickelhaube's MIL MI-24 as aerial support...

Thats awsome...I think I seen this set up quite a while back and was part of my inspiration for my IFVs, and also money and avalability. Sometime in the spring my son and I will head to the Moss Rain Forest and so a little filming. I wont be doing a traditional war film but a StarGate type of series. Here in British Columbia we have most types of landscapes for ex. Desert in the Okanogan, Snow in the mountains, Rainforests all over, Islands, Ocean, highland region called the Caribou, and if I really want to get fancy with locations...glaciers. Anyways lots of choices and the little dude keeps buggin me.
