I'll copy and paste the list here:

There ya go.
(No offense to Grunt & co., as their stuff counts but I just thought the question was funny.)

None taken Jesse, the 1:18 military space is a bit weird at the moment.
Also due yet this year:
- Schwimmwagen

And maybe more..

next mass release 1/18 item will most likely be the me-163 komet, probably early in the new year.

Merit's 1/18 Huey (21st Century mold reused) is supposed to be out by Christmas.......so it's been said.

Is the comet coming from Merit? They were talking about another 1/18th release following the Dauntless.

I believe that would probably be the Huey I mentioned in my earlier post.

Jim from Merit confirmed a Komet (slyly) a few weeks ago. He also mentioned a new Merit plane to be released early in the new year.....so i put two and two together and presumed that the Komet is the release.
I don't think it's actually being made by Merit, probably Pegasus still, but Merit will be distributing it, as they have other Pegasus products.

You know what, the Merit Dauntless has been THE most detailed 1/18 aircraft yet. We need to pass the word around to fine scale modelers too.

Agree with you there.
To give my own thoughts, 2012 really wasn't a bad year for 1:18 - it at least showed that the hobby had not died. Certainly slowed, but not dead. We got the BBI Blackhawk retool/repaint, the F-18, two versions of the long-awaited Dauntless, and one could even count the BBI F-16 and Bf-109G since those came out late in 2011. JSI Black Knights F-14 even made a re-appearance. The specialty market was buzzing with Pikelhaube's HO-229 (for those that got one) and all of Grunt1's various kits. The The aftermarket sale of new and old vehicles keeps things moving as well, despite increasingly high prices.
I can't say what 2013 will hold, but BBI still has a number of aircraft they could update/repaint and there are other potential wildcards (like a Komet) as noted in previous posts.

a 163 Komet most likely will be released, although no interest from me.
I predict BBI's next 1/18 (regardless if it's 2013 or further out) will not be anything new tooling wise, but repaints....one of these three potential subjects:
A. Blue Angels repaint F/A-18
B. P-51 repaint
C. Hellcat repaint
If JSI ever comes back around, which I think they're dead, they'll issue a F-104 repaint. I've heard the rumor of another F-14, but I think it's false.
